ARTIST STATEMENT I have worked in many forms of artmaking over the years, including printmaking, wearable sculpture, and sensory installations. Currently I am focused on painting and collage, small scale and murals. I find inspiration in Greek mythology but more specifically in the study of Minoan art and archaeology. There is currently a great deal of feminist scholarship focused on shining a light on the women in ancient Greece drawing attention to the ways current patriarchal society continues to build on these systems of the past.
