ARTIST STATEMENT
Work in progress comment:
"I collected several pieces of masking tape with part of them covered with oil paint. Imagine you have to paint a perfect square. The fastest way to do it is to apply masking tape on the fourth sides and paint over it. The excess of the paint will remain on the tape, collected from the trash, and then classified by color. Inspired by the work “The Bacino, Venice” British artist Patrick Procktor. Like piecing together a patchwork quilt, I placed several tapes together forming a line that looks like the horizon."
