ARTIST STATEMENT
ARTIST IN RESIDENCE OCT 2019 Working in the arts is like harvesting for me, a harvest of fruits that seem so unfamiliar to you, yet have such a familiar taste. In the search for viable ways of artistic work, the creative impulses always come from a sense of oneness and the bond with the creation and its natural beings. Working thus happens more intuitively and emotionally than intellectually. The symbolic translation of experience that follows my inner world is thus always guided by the example of nature, no matter what degree of abstraction the resulting work attains.
