	ARTIST STATEMENT I am an actress, teacher and more recently I have begun drawing and painting in earnest. The natural world, it’s celebration and preservation is a passion and for me it is really now the only show in town. Since my residency at Event Horizon I have been accepted as Botanical Illustration student at Kew Gardens, London. Visiting Artist.

		I found my focus in the delicacy, fragility and beauty of wild flowers. I also worked in watercolour for the first time.

		Tiny blue flower - Vicia tenuifolia, fine leafed vetch. The species is hermaphrodite and is pollinated by Insects.

		Infinite varieties of loveliness...
